CNC Machine Operator
Ferrocut(Part of Southern Steel group) is SA’s leading and most progressive steel profile cutting company that services the mining, engineering, agricultural, defense, tooling and automotive industries.
An excellent opportunity currently exists for a CNC machine operatorto join the team.
This is a full-time permanent position working, Monday to Friday.
Working within a fast-paced environment the main duties include operating the machine, driving overhead crane and forklift and machine maintenance.

- CNC Machine operation experience
- Laser, Plasma, Oxy, Drill operation(preferable)
- Brake press operation (preferable)
- Crane driving experience
- A current forklift license (essential)
- Understanding technical/ mechanical drawing
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A ‘can do’ attitude and honest work ethic
- Capable of carrying out manual work
- Punctual, reliable, dedicated and hardworking
- COVID vaccination certification (essential)
