Cleaning Officer
Based in Corowa
We are looking for an energetic person to join our team to clean, service, and present Federation Council’s Corowa Civic Centre in a safe and hygienic manner. This role is part-time basis – 5 days per week Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an energetic person to join our team to clean, service, and present Federation Council’s Corowa Civic Centre in a safe and hygienic manner. This role is part-time basis – 5 days per week Monday to Friday.
In this role you will:
- Provide a safe and hygienic environment for community and Council staff through carrying out efficient cleaning services.
- Perform all cleaning duties to the standards required.
- Consistently work in a safe manner and adhering to all Council WHS policies and procedures.
Criteria
Council’s preferred candidate will ultimately possess a range of the following qualifications, experience, skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrated previous experience cleaning of similar office-type facilities.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised and meet schedules and deadlines as well as being flexible to regularly work outside normal office hours.
- The ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures as well as both written and verbal instructions
- Possess good oral and written communication skills with the ability to complete forms and follow basic plans.
