You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Hotel Services Department by preparing delicious meals and providing exceptional kitchen support. Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
Assist in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Help prepare and present freshly cooked meals and provide suitable alternatives to accommodate residents with allergies, particular dietary requests and those who observe religious beliefs
Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager, Chef and Cook to plan a well-balanced, healthy and fresh menu
Complete food orders within the allocated budget and the appropriate timescales for deliveries
Keep up to date with Residents' needs
Follow resident’s dietary requirements
Skills & Experience:
Certificate II in Hospitality or equivalent and/or experience
Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
Previous experience in a similar role
Demonstrated experience working in an aged care setting or hotel environment
Flexibility in adapting to a changing roster
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to effectively work in a multi-disciplinary team
An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
