Casual Work Opportunity: Travel Time Survey Drivers. Hourly pay plus kilometre rate
Matrix Traffic and Transport Data specialises in traffic surveys, research, data collections and information analysis within the traffic and transport field.
Matrix is conducting a travel time survey around Launceston Area on either Wed 30 Oct, or Thurs 31 31 Oct 2024 (final date to be confirmed)
The survey involves staff to drive a given route for hours during AM & PM periods as below.
An induction will be conducted on Tue, 29 Oct 2024 afternoon around 2 PM in Launceston CBD. After the induction you will be required to drive the route assigned to you.
Please respond back to us if you are available for both the AM & PM peaks on the mentioned dates as well as the induction.
You must be available to conduct the full survey. We will confirm the date shortly.

- AM Period: 06:15 – 09:30 (3.25hrs)
- PM Period: 14:45 – 18:00 (3.25hrs)

Key Requirements:
- Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Valid Australian Drivers License
- Punctual
- You will be paid at $31.23 per hour plus the $0.98 per kms for the route that you drive on the survey day & trial runs after induction.
- Total pay: 10 hrs (7 hrs of survey + 3 hrs for induction)
- Reliable people will be contacted for future jobs.
- Please respond by 9:00 Monday, 21 Oct 2024.
- Payment is through Bank transfer, no cash in hand.
