Food by WHSmith currently operates over twenty cafés in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA, providing food and beverages to hospital employees, patients and the general public. Our cafes are located in some of the busiest hospitals in the country, and we are growing rapidly. About the Role
As a Cafe All Rounder at WHSmith, you are passionate about all things coffee! You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages, alongside exceptional customer service. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely/efficient manner, and follow all food safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for:
Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Handling cash and card transactions.
Stock rotation.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for coffee and is friendly & approachable. You will display the following qualities:
Ability to work well under pressure
1 years of experience in a café or hospitality environment as a barista preferred.
Excellent communication and a team player.
Understanding of operating and adjusting a coffee machine/grinder as required.
Knowledge around food handling and safety.
Great customer service skills and passion for coffee!
