We currently seek a permanent Full-time Boilermaker Frabricator Tradesman to join our team at our workshop in Welshpool, Perth. About You: - Liaise with Supervisor regarding all manufacturing requirements for the job to be performed - Perform tasks of fitting, assembling, grinding and shaping of metal parts within allocated times provided - Perform all tasks in accordance with instructions and drawings, as provided - Ensure each completed task is signed off by Supervisor - Return all documents and drawings to Supervisor - Inform Supervisor of completion of assigned tasks - Co-operate with others in the maintenance of a safe workplace - Take responsibility for the proper maintenance of any company equipment provided - Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times - Ensure use of all relevant personal protective equipment - Follow guidelines for safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste - Escalate any workplace incidents/accidents to Supervisor immediately - Co-operate with others to maintain a safe workplace - Uphold WHS duty of care as instructed by legislation and company policies and procedures - Perform any other relevant and reasonable duties, as directed by management Must have the following knowledge, competency - Relevant Trade Certificate and/or Post Trade Certificates - Previous experience as a Boiler Maker - Sound knowledge of standard practices of the trade - Excellent organisational skills - Strong attention to detail - Ability to multi-task and prioritise work - Obtained all relevant work tickets - Ability to work well within a team - Adaptable to changing work environment and competing demands - Able to work flexible shifts/overtime to meet production requirements - Strong commitment to WHSE - Willingness to participate in Continuous Improvement Program - Ability to work within company policies and procedures - WHSE awareness If this sounds like your next and best career move, Apply now and include your resume, explaining your interest and highlighting your experience and qualifications to match our needs.
