Job Description

Due to a number of key pursuits in the pipeline, our Buildings & Places team are looking for a Bid & Proposal Coordinator, based in Brisbane. This opportunity will be heavily involved in the preparation and coordination of bids for major projects across Brisbane Olympics, aviation, health, defence, transport and community projects. You will be part of a high-performing team working with key stakeholders across our building services, cost management, architecture and planning business units.

What will a day in this role look like:
  • Work closely with technical leads to manage the bid process. You will be heavily involved in returning project schedules, producing bid content, bid writing, collating project team CVs and organisation charts.
  • Use your experience in bid management, alongside latest AI Technology, to coordinate and write compelling content for submissions and presentations, working closely with Practice Leads across various disciplines.
  • Utilise your organisation and planning skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders, collate information on previous bids to generate high-quality, up to date content for our major pursuits and bids.
  • Coordinate and lead strategic workshops with potential bid partners, clients and other stakeholders. Being a point of interface and collaboration with these parties.
  • Administer existing and new bid and proposal content for Buildings and Places, utilise existing tools, databases and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to maintain up to date content that can be used by a range of team members within B+P.

Qualifications
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

  • Ideally, 5 + years of relevant experience working in bids and proposals with a track record in bid management / proposals, content development, business development and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • A specific degree is not a requirement – our focus is on relevant experience in managing bids and proposals within the construction industry for a consultancy or contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience working within critical timeframes, ensuring timely delivery of proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Australian Citizenship is strongly preferred due to the specific requirements of the projects.
