Identify retail/project opportunities for development and implement sales strategies and initiatives to maximise sales growth.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. Provide appropriate feedback through reporting manager on customer needs and maintain an awareness of market needs, product development, communication and promotional strategies as well as new business opportunities to maximise business effectiveness and identify sales synergies. Assisting on request efficiently with advice on technical related enquires.
Execute new product training rollouts with Merchants and key partner customers. Develop and maintain relationships with key Merchant Branch staff supporting the Geberit Product Solutions and relevant to market volume.
Develop and maintain relationships with focus Partner Customers - Developers, Hydraulic Engineers, Architects/Interior Designers, Commercial/Multi Residential Builders & Plumbers.
Research and recommend continuous improvement initiatives, innovations and new projects within the identified customer base to enhance sales tactics and customer service. Implement initiatives to maximise sales volume, customer satisfaction/responsiveness, pricing, productivity, sales effectiveness, compliance and best practice.
Ensure retail and project calls are planned to maximise sales effectiveness, they are aligned with the overall business plan and reflected through CRM and reporting platforms. Integrate sales focus initiatives into each sales call to maximise sales and specification opportunities. Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of sales activities and submitted on a monthly basis around significant volume increases (Projects).
Analyse sales data and provide periodic reports on sales trends, reporting on progress, initiatives, adverse trends, competitor activity, areas of concern and appropriate recommendations and conclusions.
Keep abreast of state information on industry trends, regulatory changes, competitor activity and best practice that may directly impact on the area of responsibility. Report back on the impact of those trends and provide recommendations on potential solutions.
