The Role A vacancy currently exists within the Central Services Laboratory for a Lab Assistant. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor – Production, you will provide timely and accurate preparation and analysis of a variety of metallurgical and plant samples. This is a residential role based in Mount Isa on a 4 day/4-night shift roster.
Supporting the Laboratory’s commitment to provide assays to plant areas across the mining lease, you will be required to collect, prepare and analyse a range of samples, using various analytical techniques.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment will be an advantage, however training and development will be offered. You will also be required to hold an Australian manual driver licence.
