Assistant Director (2IC) – 23-Place Childcare Centre
We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Assistant Director (2IC) to join our 23-place childcare centre. In this role, you will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure smooth daily operations, support educators, and maintain high-quality care and education standards. Key responsibilities include assisting with team management, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols, engaging with families, and stepping into the Director's role as needed. You will also help implement learning programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, experience in a leadership or 2IC role, a current First Aid Certificate, and a valid Working with Children Check. Strong communication and organisational skills, along with knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS), are essential.
