AR One Stop Autos has a rare opportunity for a Light Vehicle Mechanic + Automotive Workshop 2IC to join our growing team!
AR One Stop Autos is a family run workshop that has been serving the Kenwick community for 35 years. We have a loyal, long-term customer base who have kept coming for our friendly, high quality, honest and reliable service. We see a great variety of vehicles day-to-day, offering servicing, repairs, tyres, and wheel alignments.
Applicants with a drive to succeed, but no 2IC experience are also encouraged to apply!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Ideal candidate will have 2IC / foreman / management experience in an automotive workshop
- Valid manual driver’s license
- Results driven with strong eye for detail and technical ability
- Positive, calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise workshop productivity and efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and support to the workshop team, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Mentoring apprentices and other staff
- Invoicing, quoting, bookings, customer service
- Overseeing other employees workmanship
- Input into future business development/direction
- Replacing and testing defective parts
- Servicing vehicles when scheduled
- Taking apart engines and finding faults
- Reassembling parts and engines
- Assessing vehicles for roadworthiness
