Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Data Modeling: Design and develop efficient data models using Power BI, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
Report Development: Create, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business need and provide actionable insights.
Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, cloud services) into Power BI, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
Dashboard Design: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights.
Data Visualization: Implement advanced data visualization techniques to highlight key trends, patterns, and outliers.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure quick loading times and responsiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary improvements to reports and dashboards.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports, data sources, and data models.
Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the BI reporting landscape.
Security and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and implement appropriate security measures to protect sensitive data.

REQUIREMENTS:

Five-year college degree in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ Years of experience developing Power BI reports, DAX in Power BI desktop and Service
5+ Years of experience developing in M language (Power Query Code)
5+ Years of technical background in analytical and BI roles
Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts
Excellent data visualization and design skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and to work and connect with a wide variety of teams
Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish
