We are seeking a friendly and skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing customer experiences by building and customizing Shopify stores, and developing pages, sections, and possibly Shopify Apps. Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify), Java Script, HTML, and CSS is essential, with experience in React and knowledge of Python is highly desirable.
Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday / 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

Custom Development: Transform custom Shopify section or page designs into functional and engaging components.
Website Creation: Build and develop Shopify websites from scratch, utilizing stock photos as needed.
Improvement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to enhance client websites for better performance and user experience.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with design and development teams to ensure alignment and progress.
App Configuration: Set up and configure Shopify apps (e.g., Judgeme) to meet client needs.
Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.
Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues to optimize website performance and user experience.
QA Testing: Perform quality assurance and test your own development work to ensure functionality and reliability.
Project Management: Utilize Paymo for project management, task tracking, and ensuring timely project completion.
Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

Must Haves:

Excellent English communication skills.
+1 years of Shopify Experience: Proven experience working with Shopify and strong proficiency in Liquid.
Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Java Script (JS), HTML, and CSS.
Project Management: Experience with Paymo or similar project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday).
Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Nice to Have:

Shopify Apps Development: Experience building Shopify Apps using React.
Python Knowledge: Familiarity with Python is a plus.
AWS and Gadgets.dev: Experience with AWS and gadgets.dev services.
E-commerce Platforms: Knowledge of other e-commerce platforms and integrations.
SEO Best Practices: Understanding of SEO best practices and their implementation.
