Senior Wordpress Web Developer - Remote
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Word Press Web Developer to join our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Word Press development, including theme customization, plugin development, and occasionally implementing custom code. You will work on building websites from scratch, as well as using templates to create stunning, responsive, and functional websites that meet our clients’ needs.

As we continue to expand our team, we are in search of a skilled and experienced Wordpress web developer to join us on our journey and have the opportunity to grow with us as we start scaling!
This is a fully remote position.
Monthly pay is $550 - $1,000 USD depending on experience.

Experience:
We are seeking an experienced Word Press Web Developer to join our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Word Press development, including theme customization, plugin development, and occasionally implementing custom code. You will work on building websites from scratch, as well as using templates to create stunning, responsive, and functional websites that meet our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain Word Press websites, either using templates or creating custom themes.
- Implement custom coding (HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP) to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot Word Press plugins and themes.
- Ensure website responsiveness and mobile optimization.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate UI/UX elements with Word Press.
- Maintain website performance, security, and backups.
- Implement SEO best practices and integrate marketing tools when necessary.
- Proven experience as a Word Press Developer, with a strong portfolio of websites.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, and My SQL.
- Experience with Word Press builders like Elementor and customizing templates.
- Ability to create custom Word Press themes and plugins.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and website optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be fluent in English both verbally and written!
- Ecommerce web development experience
- Webflow development experience
