DMI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our manufacturing client’s large-scale digital transformation.

Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives the definition and documentation of the business requirements for IT initiatives. Translates business requirements to IT design requirements. Works with Product Owner to clarify requirements for team. Reviews requirements with development team to ensure alignment on delivery. Sets delivery expectations for stakeholders. Coordinates and implements System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

The primary responsibilities are the following:
Effective communication and collaboration. Produces high quality deliverables on time. Defines and drives execution of workplans across areas. Translates strategic intent to specific deliverables in own area. Reports status on team deliverables. Troubleshoots issues at team level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates requirement meetings
Prepares Functional Requirements
Gather and clearly document business and system requirements for technical project initiatives
Assist Product Owners in orchestrating project plan at a high-level
Assist Product Owners in tracking requirements to ensure they are met
Review and approve requirements with development team and stakeholders on a regular basis
Collaborate with engineers to implement requirements
Collaborate with QA analysts to provide detailed acceptance criteria
Ability to conceptualize necessary steps to achieve business objectives through technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and/or software pseudocode.
Verifies data for testing is complete and ready for use by the development team
Negotiates bug and enhancement discussions with Business
Prioritizes work with Product Owner.
Responsible for working with team to estimate work effort using story points
Uses estimates and team metrics to create and maintain delivery roadmaps and forecasts
Coordinates and reviews SIT and UAT testing, including reporting results
Drives Business sign off on testing results

Qualifications:Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business or related
Related Experience: 5+ years of IT business analysis experience
8+ years of IT experience using structured project methodologies

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skill
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, driven to take action on those opportunities
Strong Group Facilitation Skills
Ability to work independently
Strong familiarity with JIRA, ADO, or comparable backlog management tool
Understand basic database and development concepts
Familiarity with project management concepts & tools
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of Business and IT management.
Ability to negotiate acceptable solutions to complex problems across multiple business and/or technical areas and vendors
Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously
Focus on business application development
