About the Opportunity: DMI is seeking a JOB TITLE to join us.

OTA Engineer

The OTA engineer will be responsible for working with a global automaker in enabling their OTA campaigns and reporting its status to key stakeholders.

Perform analysis and record and track software bugs to closure. Work cross-functionally with stakeholder teams to identify risks and opportunities for ECU software integrity and vehicle functionality.

Launch update across multiple ECU globally on captive vehicles to analyze OTA update performance and ECU functionality.

Manage OTA update results and share with stakeholders for customer updates. Build population analysis that will be targeted for the update using Power BI and data warehouse with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with multiple stakeholders for successful OTA operations.
Analyzing software OTA performance across different ECU, carline and regions.
Perform analysis and record and track software bugs to closure.
Utilize Power BI to showcase update performance for different scenarios.
Build scripts to automate multiple update launch updated globally.
Build SQL queries to extract VIN and ECU level information.
Document all the software releases and track their update of update
Document compatibility between different ECU versions.
Build relationship with all regional stakeholders for seamless OTA operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Automotive Connected and OTA experience.
Experience with managing OTA operations.
Experience in testing or managing OTA functionality.
Hands on experience of OTA functionality across different ECUs.
Experience testing offboard functionality and OTA performance.
Experience working data and utilizing Power Bi and Databricks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
2+ years’ experience in analyst experience.
Experience managing OTA campaigns and operations.
Experience with projects involving Client interactions and coordination.
Knowledge and experience in Power BI.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies for adaptive project management.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time-management skills
