The Role
As a Software Engineer on our latest security product team, you will be developing cutting-edge interfaces that our Fortune 500 customers use to protect their people and assets. The workload includes engineering web interfaces that offer high performance while exploring large amounts of data, close collaboration with API and Backend developers to power your interfaces, and development of automation to deploy, test, and monitor your work. We regularly work with customers to validate ideas during development, so you cannot just heads-down code in a vacuum. This is a uniquely-challenging role: we empower small teams to make large impacts, the scale of our data is legitimately huge, and we're building product that is absolutely mission-critical to our customers 24/7/365.
Your day-to-day
- Work in an extremely fast-paced, collaborative team-first, and challenging environment with a focus on driving best practices across the organization.
- Design, code, review, test and deploy software features in our application stack.
- Prototype, evaluate, and iterate on software solutions to hard problems
- Work closely with product and UX to bring the best solution to market.
- Collaborate across teams and follow Agile environment like Scrum, Kanban, etc.

- Continually deploy & test your work, learn new techniques and technologies as a result of peer review and mentorship; share what you have learned with your peers
What you bring to the team
- Must have experience developing software in a high-uptime customer-focused environment.
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited school in an engineering related field.
- Must have knowledge of modern patterns for how frontend systems interact with backend code
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, modern Java Script, React JS preferred; other technologies including but not limited to Typescript, Angular and Node JS will be considered.
- Familiarity with frontend testing using tools like Cypress or Playwright, and visual regression tools is desired.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge, experience, or interest in how frontend applications are built is valued; including but not limited to understanding of micro frontend architecture and/or monorepos.
- The ideal candidate will have passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks
