Front-end Developer

We are the team that created Open VPN, the industry-standard VPN protocol now used by most commercial VPN providers worldwide. We are currently looking for a Front-end Developer to further develop the product that millions of people around the world will interact with daily!

About the project:
We are looking to hire a new member of our Website Development team who will be responsible for modernizing sections of our website, building out API integrations, and working alongside a team as part of a fast-paced development environment.

As networking solutions are our company’s core business, a good working knowledge of networking technologies would be a strong plus. Even more important to your success in this position would be your proactive attitude and the ability to assume responsibility and take ownership.

Battle-tested understanding of React and its internals.
Like-a-book knowledge of Java Script and its distinctive features.
Experience with Type Script and a thorough understanding of when and how to use it.
Capability to articulate the purpose, pros, and cons of tools being or to be used.
Proficient English (B2+), both spoken and written.

As a plus:

Experience with Strapi or other modern CMS solutions.

Familiarity with react component libraries.

Desire or experience contributing to open source software projects, and/or internal-use tools/libraries.
