The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.
What role you will play in our team
- As a Compute Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining compute systems that support our business operations. You will work with global teams, and modern and cutting-edge technologies.
- Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with engineers and users from all around the world.
What you will do
- Deploy and support on-premise and cloud-based hosting and computing environments.
- Participate in the evaluation of existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities to keep them running in optimal conditions.
- Participate in the evaluation of new products available on the market and design solutions for next generation systems.
- Provide support to IT systems over globally distributed sites, including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
- Develop automation using modern management tools.
- Assist in fortifying systems’ security.
About you
- Bachelor Degree or close to graduating in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Analysis or similar
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
- Working experience in System administration, in one or more of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, Storage (Net App, Dell EMC), Backup (Commvault preferred, TSM, Netbackup, Veeam) and/or Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix) solutions.
- Continuous learning mindset, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge on security management (e.g. CVE remediation, vulnerability assessment), patch management tools (e.g. SCCM, RH Satellite) and application delivery.

Proficiency with servers provisioning and packaging.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Working experience in an Agile organization.
- Scripting skills oriented to automation and orchestration (e.g. Power Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).
- Source Code Management and Version Control (e.g. Git).
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, Wazuh, SCOM).
- Prior experience with any cloud vendor (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Experience with containerization in Open Shift or Kubernetes.
- Active Directory/LDAP knowledge.
