WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Team Lead to join our Loan Administration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, outstanding analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The Collections Team Lead will play a key role in managing the company's receivables and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Team Lead to join our Loan Administration team. The Collections Team Lead will play a key role in managing the company's receivables and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding balances.
Essential Functions:
- Lead the team with monitoring loan aging reports to identify troubled accounts.
- Maintain thorough records of collection efforts and status of accounts.
- Contact borrowers with delinquent accounts and solicit payment.
- Review severely delinquent loans and recommend migration to non-performing status when collection efforts are no longer productive.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- 5+ years experience Collections, Customer Service, or related field
- Loan/mortgage industry experience preferred.
- 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Teams is required.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment).
