What is this role about?
This role will provide support and guidance to analysts in ensuring quality compliance. In addition, he/she will also be in continuous collaboration with Operations to ensure that formulations are correctly executed and in solving quality issues in the plant.

This role will provide support and guidance to analysts in ensuring quality compliance. In addition, he/she will also be in continuous collaboration with Operations to ensure that formulations are correctly executed and in solving quality issues in the plant.
What will YOU do?
- Provide supervision on daily laboratory activities guarantee that all analysts performing the quality check are trained and equipped with the right knowledge to monitor quality compliance of raw materials, in-process and finished goods
- Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process, by-product and finished product samples
- Support Supply in ensuring that feedstocks and chemicals being delivered are within ordering speccifications
- Ensure quality compliance of in-process and finished goods
- Improve recipe and continuously perform research and experiments to provide cost effective formulation
- Collaborate with Plant Operations to further improve quality of products
- Review and and ensure that laboratory results are submitted on time to Plant Supervisor/Field Technician
- Monitor preventive maintenance and calibration calendar of laboratory equipment and glasswares, and ensure that they are conducted by accredited service providers as scheduled
- Ensure that all lab equipment will provide accurate results; reduce downtime due to equipment breakdown caused by poor maintenance
- Assist the QCPD Manager in updating and maintaining the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) documents, 5S+1 documents, and other laboratory-related documents
- Conduct all testing requirements by DOE , as necessary
- Search for prospective suppliers of laboratory instruments to make the laboratory more capable of testing procedures recommended by the Philippine National Standards (PNS) and/or American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
- Submit purchase requisitions of laboratory supplies and chemicals as requested to ensure continuous and cost optimized operations of the laboratory
What will YOU need?
- Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician
- At least 1 year of relevant employment experience
- Must have people management experience as well
