Cedar Wood Recruitment is now recruiting for a Stores Administrator at a private “Big Five” game reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. The Clients lodges within the reserve form part of an international portfolio of exclusive lodges. The lodge operations are highly professional providing efficient guest experiences within a fun-loving and outgoing atmosphere which is typical of the group. A hands-on approach is therefore expected of all team members. The Stores Administrator will provide full leave cover as well as assistance to the Purchasing & Procurement Manager in daily data capturing, administration, placing of orders and monthly stock takes. NB: Candidate should be currently living in Mpumalanga

- Candidate should be living in Mpumalanga
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in a purchasing and procurement role
- Extensive Computer Knowledge ie full Microsoft Suite, Pastel Accounting etc.
- Excellent command of the English language
- Driver’s license (advantageous)
- HMS experience would be a bonus
- Provide full cover whilst the Purchasing & Procurement Manager is on leave, this includes the placing of orders and daily administrative tasks
- Perform daily housekeeping requisitions
- Perform daily cash-ups and enter stock purchases for the day
- Perform and record daily updates of Lodge requisitions (Food, Beverages, Housekeeping)
- Capture daily updates of staff food allowances
- Check all incoming deliveries
- Enter all delivered items into the stock system
- Perform additional administrative duties from time to time according to operational requirements
- Investigate and report any variances/discrepancies and stock related issues directly to the Purchasing & Procurement Manager
- Reconcile supplier accounts for payment
- Post payments on creditor/supplier accounts
- Assist with monthly stock takes and data capture
- Issuing and managing of all petty cash movements and banking of tips/cash payments in the
- absence of the Purchasing & Procurement Manager

- 20 bed nights for family and friends annually at R750 p/p/p/night
- 2x gym memberships
- Leave cycle: 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off
