Government Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in DOH, government hospitals, and LGUs.
  • Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with government agencies and officials.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for government clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Lead participation in public bidding processes, from identifying opportunities to submitting proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements for government contracts, including proper documentation, certifications, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to prepare competitive bids, including pricing, contract terms, and service offerings.
  • Monitor and analyze tender notices, contract awards, and procurement trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand company presence in the government healthcare sector.
  • Identify and evaluate government healthcare programs and initiatives that align with product offerings.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management to support long-term growth in the government sector.
  • Ensure that all business dealings with government entities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in government procurement processes, healthcare policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the legal and regulatory teams to ensure that contracts and agreements are aligned with Medtrile’s legal and ethical standards.
  • Oversee the execution of government contracts, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Monitor contract performance, including product delivery, service quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by government clients during the contract term.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on government business activities, including bidding outcomes, contract performance, and financial metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of all government contracts, agreements, and transactions using CRM systems and document management tools.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure successful execution of government contracts.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on government client needs and market trends.
  • Support internal teams in understanding government regulations and processes related to bidding and contracting.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Law, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in government relations, business development, or sales, particularly in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven experience in navigating government procurement processes, bidding, and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with public health programs and government healthcare policies.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with government officials and public entities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids and contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and government bidding platforms (e.g., Phil GEPS).
  • Willingness to travel regularly to government offices and healthcare facilities.
  • Strong ethical judgment and understanding of public sector transparency requirements.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and create actionable plans based on insights.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while being highly motivated to achieve goals.
  • Able to navigate diverse industries and tailor sales approaches to different markets and customer needs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (80%/ 20%)
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.
  • Comfortable using technology to optimize sales processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php28,000.00 per month
