You will be responsible for:
- Developing estimates and handling overall procurement processes to meet project/order requirements
- Managing project/order variations, resolving supply delays to sourcing alternative supply partners ensuring timely sourcing of alternative products when needed
- Managing paperwork associated with products and services from creating client orders, to procurement, coordinating stock checks for ongoing job orders, receipting, invoicing of client orders to arranging delivery and ensuring that goodssent direct to site are receipted and invoiced.
- Process purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and their representative’s regarding product information, pricing, credits and ensuring timely delivery
- Negotiating the best buy price to maximize gross profit (GP), minimizing business costs and providing pricing feedback to Senior Management for informed decision making
- Forecasting stock supply ensuring that there are sufficient stocks to meet requirement of each contract/job and as well as maintaining optimum levels for store stock
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of quotations, customer orders and producing reports as required for management review
- Working collaboratively with the Management Team, Trade Team and Store Department Teams to achieve maximum profitability, growth and efficiency
- Liaising with project managers and designers to ensure product specifications are met
- Have at least two years’ experience working in a purchasing role, estimating or quoting scheduled quantities of products through to developing accurate and competitive estimates or quotations
- Tertiary level qualification or equivalent, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Accounting, or similar is essential
- Have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Have a flexible can-do attitude and a willingness to always go the extra mile
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, advance computer skills
- Be able to cope under pressure especially when working to tight deadlines to meet both client and business needs
- This is a permanent full-time role, guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

- Paid day anniversary
- Competitive Hourly Rate: $28.00-$32.00, plus bonus potential
