Logistics Team Member – Distribution Centre
Mitre 10 continues to dominate the NZ market through both its market share and number of stores throughout the country and you can be part of our continuing success by joining the team at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill, we pride ourselves in delivering exceptional service to every customer, every day.
We have two part time roles available in our Logistics team, which will be based at our Distribution Centre, reporting to the Logistics Team Leader you will be part of the team who is responsible for coordinating incoming trade and retail stock from our suppliers as well as dispatching these goods to customers.
Role 1: Sunday to Wednesday (inclusive) roster pattern, 28 hours per week.
Role 2: Thursday to Saturday (inclusive) roster pattern, 22 hours per week.
These roles are physical and hands on, in a busy and crucial part of the business, we are looking for applicants who have:

Previous stock room/store person experience, receipting goods, unloading trucks.
A current Forklift Licence or the ability to obtain one is essential (Class 2 would be favourable but not essential)
A good level of physically fitness, as there will be a significant amount of lifting & manual handling.
Good attention to detail and computer skills, to learn our online systems and processes.
Excellent reliability
Great communication skills
Good initiative, self-management, and safe work practices.
