About the team | Ko te rōpū nei The Council provides a cycle safety programme for primary schools all over the city which targets 10 and 11 year olds and aims to improve the cycling skills of tamariki and to encourage them to cycle. We're after enthusiastic instructors who are full of energy to help deliver our worthwhile Cycle Safe programme. You will have knowledge of the road code with practical cycling skills and experience. To set you up for success you will have a natural ability to coach and manage groups of school students. This position requires you to assist with the physical aspects of the programme and to maintain a positive attitude. Proven time management skills and contributing to a great team culture will come naturally to you. You pride yourself on your honesty, integrity and a high level of workplace maturity. As a Cycle Safe Instructor you do not work during the school holidays but you may be required to attend any professional development sessions. Starting rates will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles.
