Cafe Supervisor– Columbus Coffee Warkworth
At our Columbus Coffee Cafe in Whangaparaoa, we pride ourselves in offering a delicious meal and superb coffee. We have classic Kiwi breakfasts, as well as fabulous lunch options which you can enjoy in the relaxing atmosphere of our garden center. We also have an amazing playground just outside the café perfect for the little ones!
About the role
This is a day light hours, hands-on management role and to be successful you will need to be a leader who can motivate, mentor and guide our team, as well as be a team player who is happy to roll their sleeves up and help the team.

This is a 30 hours a week, Sunday to Wednesday position.

Riviera Hardware Holdings Limited (RHHL) owns and successfully operates Mitre 10 MEGA Albany, Mitre 10 MEGA Warkworth, Mitre 10 MEGA New Lynn & Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale along with Mitre 10 Whangaparaoa. We also proudly own and operate our five Columbus Coffee shops within our MEGA & Mitre 10 stores. We deliver Prenail Frame and Truss solutions through Riviera Pre-nail and do our own importing via Riviera Imports.

Our ideal candidate
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a café or restaurant management position
- Have an understanding for cafe front and back of house operations
- Strong knowledge around Marketing and Franchise systems would be advantageous
- Robust understanding around Food Control Plans and all areas of Health and Safety

Leadership skills with a background in managing a team of more than 10 with the ability to further develop and grow their skills
- Methodical in your approach to the job with the ability to see the big picture and direct staff accordingly.
- Customer centric - love customer interaction with exceptional customer service skills
