The Bakery role at New World Kerikeri will consist of the following:
The successful candidate will have:
This is a full-time position, 5 days per week including one weekend day with early morning starts (4am-5am in the morning, 8 hours per day).

- Preparation and baking of bread doughs from scratch and frozen such as; breads, sourdoughs, pastries, pies, cakes and other baked goods.
- Working with ovens and provers
- Consistently producing quality goods
- Creativity with production of Cakes and Donuts
- Confidently maintaining and promoting Food Safety and Health and Safety standards on a daily basis
- Maintain efficiency in daily production schedule as outlined by the Department Manager.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous bakery/supermarket experience or similar as a baker
- Qualification as a Baker or have commenced a Bakery apprenticeship
- Knowledge of scratch bread doughs and other baking lines.
- Previous knowledge of sweet side an advantage
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety guidelines in NZ
