We are currently hiring a full time, sales assistant for our busy showroom in Cavan.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for providing customers with friendly, helpful and professional assistance in all areas of our store. They are also responsible for helping to maintain the high standards of our showroom and the ability to work well under pressure during busy periods in a fast-paced but fun working environment.
The ideal candidate should be available to work weekends (excluding Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays)
Duties include:
- Customer service, offering advice and guidance in a friendly and helpful manner
- Operation of tills managing point of sale processes including cash, card & credit transactions.
- Participating in regular stock taking
- Maintaining the high standards of our showroom
- Manual handling & unpacking deliveries on a daily basis
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate an ability to deal with colleagues and customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Be computer literate with experience in MS Excel and Outlook
- Be reliable and committed to continually improving standards
- Self-motivated, organised and creative
Preferable but not essential:
- Retail Sales
