Piping Engineer
Role Context:
Worley is seeking a skilled Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team in Czechia. This role involves the design, analysis, and management of piping systems across various projects in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of piping design and installation meet required specifications, standards, and regulatory compliance while supporting project objectives of safety, cost-efficiency, and reliability.

Piping Engineer
Role Context:
Worley is seeking a skilled Piping Engineer to join our dynamic team in Czechia. This role involves the design, analysis, and management of piping systems across various projects in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of piping design and installation meet required specifications, standards, and regulatory compliance while supporting project objectives of safety, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
You'll be:
- Develop design packages for projects from feasibility studies, through to detailed design

Carrying out the Piping engineering and design services which includes, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring safety in design is achieved
- Developing and/or supporting 3D Detailed Design, model reviews, 2D Isometric Design, Pipe Stressing Requirements, piping documentation including Line list, Schedules, Specifications and preparation of PED Technical Files.
- Performing pipe stress analysis,
- Piping supports design, selection and materials
- Participating in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow the required checking procedures
- Ensuring that work complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained.

- A track record and technical knowledge in complex multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in the industrial sector, power generation, conventional and alternative energy, oil and gas, chemicals, mining, etc.
- A detailed understanding and working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices
- Previous experience working within a Piping Engineering role and have extensive knowledge & understanding of various types of piping materials
- A Bachelor’s degree in respective Engineering discipline
- Working knowledge of Auto CAD, 2D and 3D Modelling, ASME, ISO and EN piping codes, PED regulations
- The ability to speak either Czech or Slovak language to a fluent state & English to a technical capability.
