Intern, Manufacturing - CR

Support for manufacturing operations and systems engineering. Assist in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery in order to maximize manufacturing throughput. Job duties:

Assist Engineer(s) in technical aspects of a product line.
Analyze test data using statistical software.
Specify supplies, raw materials, and required testing for new raw materials.
Support validation of product, equipment, and processes.
Interface with other departments to solve production problems.
Develop and maintain equipment documentation/training aids to include critical equipment operating conditions and parameters.
Review engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
Record findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
Perform additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently studying for a degree in Engineering related field of study.
Computer skills including statistical software packages, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Solid Works, and Auto CAD.
Must be organized and methodical, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change.

Desired Qualifications

Reading and preparing technical documentation.
Working knowledge of standard machine shop equipment and process.
Knowledge of medical and technical development.
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to execute using latest manufacturing methods and requirements.
