Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse Sales Employee
Ceramic Tile Center would like to welcome someone who is motivated, a hard worker, and looking for opportunity to grow within the company. Ceramic Tile Center is hiring for one, full-time employee to work in the sales, shipping, and receiving departments. Wage depends on experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and fulfill customer orders by accurately picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment.
2. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience. Including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping the floors, dusting shelves, emptying trash cans, etc.
3. Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product information, and offer recommendations to meet their needs.
4. Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash or electronic payments securely.
5. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock situations to the inventory management team.
6. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
7. Conduct regular stock checks to reconcile physical inventory with system records.
8. Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth and customer-centric process.
9. Keep abreast of product knowledge and updates to provide accurate information to customers.
10. Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
11. Safely loading and unloading slab delivery trucks. Maintaining slab inventory, which includes moving slabs for showings, labeling, and tagging sold material.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment preferred.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
6. Physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages as needed.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
8. This position involves operating a forklift to manage inventory and facilitate efficient warehouse operations. Prior forklift experience is beneficial, but the company provides comprehensive training for employees to ensure safe and proficient forklift operation.
The schedule is Monday-Saturday 7am-3:30pm (mid week day off)
