Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including acute care, medical offices, and hospice care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment, and education while adhering to established standards of care.
Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
Assist in performing procedures such as spinal taps and triage.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Cerner and Athenahealth.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Assist with coding for insurance purposes when necessary.

Experience

Proven experience in acute care or medical office settings is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth is a plus.
Experience in hospice care is advantageous but not required.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
