Renaissance Academy was founded 30 years ago in 1994, a private K-12 school in Arcadia, South California, is excited to announce career opportunities—our principal. We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering excellence in education.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in school counseling or education or some other related field.
· Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in a high school as a teacher and admission leader.
· Familiar and ability with international student services coordination, assisting in admissions and marketing programs.
· Passionate and aggressive personality with excellent communication skills, leadership skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
· Pursue the vision and execute the mission of Renaissance Academy. Serve as chief administrator and instructional leader for the school.
· Establishes and interprets personnel and educational policies and procedures for all phases of the school’s operation.
· Work closely with students, faculty, staff, parents and the community to resolve issues as needed.
· Maintain visibility with students, teachers, parents and the Board. Meets regularly with administration, faculty, staff, and students to organize and direct the school’s operation and promote a spirit of cooperation and mutual support.
· Direct and supervise the curriculum and guidance programs of the school.
· Coordinates the development, implementation, and evaluation of curricular program and international programs.
· Provides quarterly and annual updates regarding student and school progress to all stakeholders.
