Registered Nurse - Long Term Acute Care (ICU experience) - South Dakota

The state-of-the-art Long-Term Care facility allows Intensive Care Unit nurses to uphold their high standards of patient care and further enhance their skills. They will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, registered nurses, and auxiliary care staff to assist patients in achieving independence where possible. Candidates with ICU experience will play a key role in patient recovery, managing a 1:5 patient ratio. They must confidently delegate tasks, adhere to policies and procedures, and deliver clinically effective care. Strong analytical skills are crucial for reviewing assessment data, diagnostics, laboratory results, and promptly reporting any deviations to the medical team. Salary range & hours: $32.00 to $39.00ph dependent on experience. Responsibilities:
Provide patient care in a long-term acute care setting.
Assist physicians and medical professionals in treatment and illness management.
Manage multiple individual cases.
Oversee daily rehabilitation and medication for patients.
Work closely with a five-person team to provide complex care treatment for conditions such as Pulmonary/ventilator liberation, neurological disorders and post-trauma care.

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Adult Nursing (BSN) or Country equivalent
NCLEX-RN Passer (or in progress)
South Dakota RN License (or willing to obtain)
State Board of Nursing approved English Proficiency Examination (If required)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS/PALS or additional certification
24 months recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting
Ability/Willingness to relocate for a minimum of 3 years
