JOB DESCRIPTION – Regional Sales Manager Start Date: Immediately Location: USA Job Title: Industrial Regional Sales Manager Priority Wire & Cable, a leading supplier of wire and cable in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking a Industrial Regional Sales Manager to support our East region. This role will support our well-established electrical distribution channel and focus on managing and building accounts. The successful candidate will join a team of Industrial Regional Sales Managers across the United States to help to continue to grow our sales.
Achieves sales and profit goals within your region.
Manages accounts and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate.
Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies.
Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume.
Collects relevant competitors' market information to increase sales volume and market share.
Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Focus on the Industrial Product offering
Mining Industry expert in the East with offering assistance in other territories when needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
Comfortable working remote
Self-Driven
Hands on
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Team Oriented; Must be able to work with teams, individual contributors, and executives while having the ability to influence, understand and collaborate.
Ability to manage and prioritize projects and initiatives.
Ability to travel 75% within, and occasionally outside the USA.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or business-related discipline.
Minimum five years’ experience in outside sales and account management.
Sound understanding of copper and aluminum wire installs and applications.
Sound understanding of electrical distribution channel and demonstrated partnerships.
Metallurgy experience or understanding preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to travel by plane or automobile.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
