Overview Positive, reliable & resourceful officer manager and receptionist sought by established local law firm. This position will provide full-time officer manager, receptionist, and bookkeeping support for two attorneys and a paralegal. Candidate will have capacity to learn and function efficiently in a fast-paced law firm environment; to interact professionally with the public, judiciary and legal community; to navigate and master online multiple legal case management systems and enter data and information accurately in that system; to handle all incoming and outgoing mail including daily post office runs, to be point of contact for office service providers and manage all aspects of physical office operations, to maintain bookkeeping for firm, as well as other varied job duties. This is an at-will, salaried full-time position. Candidate will work 40 hours/week. Candidate will start at $55,000 salary/year. High School Diploma or GED Ability to maintain confidential information and work product Ability to function in a high-pressure environment Microsoft Word; Excel; Power Point Confidence & competency in computer skills Competency in basic bookkeeping skills, including familiarity with Quickbooks Competency (or ability to learn quickly) in online legal case management system(s) Competency with Quickbooks accounting system Effective communication skills (written and oral) Customer service mindset Candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, and to safely ascend and descend second floor internal staircase (office is on the 2nd floor office building with no elevator).
