**NIGHT SHIFT; 6:30pm-7am**
As a Quality Technician you’ll be responsible for ensuring product, packaging, and labeling meet all the HMS quality metrics. In this role, you will also test materials before, during, and after production to ensure that they meet defined standards for customer satisfaction.
Major Responsibilities
- Perform inspections across all stages of production, develop and maintain inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and company standards and specifications.
- Calibrate quality control equipment.
- Conduct quality test on products across all stages of production, prepare and maintain test data.
- Analyze and evaluate test data, create reports noting any relevant deviations from existing standards.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement, propose changes, and implement new methods.
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years of production inspection and testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze and interpret information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12-hour night shifts; 2-2-3 schedule
