Part-Time Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver - Coffee Roasting Facility

Carmel Valley Coffee Roasting Co. has a part-time Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Driver position open Monday-Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM at 4 days per week (Flexible). This position reports to the Director of Coffee and Wholesale Supervisor, based out of our Carmel Valley roasting facility at Mid Valley Shopping Center, Carmel.
The production assistant will assist with tasks related to production and distribution of our coffee beans and cold brew coffee. This is a wonderful position if you want to break into the world of roasting coffee. The role includes:

grinding, bagging, labeling and shipping coffee
order fulfillment of online orders and wholesale accounts
delivery to wholesale accounts around the Monterey Peninsula
organizing and cleaning the warehouse
assisting with roasting as needed
maintaining packaging and other large equipment
light administrative tasks, assisting with installation of coffee equipment, and provide general help as needed.

The delivery driver will transport coffee orders to a number of wholesale accounts around the peninsula as well as our 3 coffeehouses located in Carmel. They will exercise excellent customer service and timely delivery of the coffee orders.

operate a pallet jack,
capable of remaining alert and attentive while standing in one location for extended periods of time.

Eligible candidates shall have a valid California license and a clean driving record. Word & Excel computer skills and knowledge of Google Drive are most helpful. Candidates that have a track record for being dependable and love coffee will be prioritized.
Carmel Valley Coffee Roasting Co. was founded in 1994 and operates three coffeehouses on the Monterey Peninsula as well as a robust wholesale operation. We are a certified organic handler of coffee and only roast organic beans.
