Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are handled with care and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are handled with care and efficiency. This role requires a strong focus on safety and quality while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage order fulfillment processes.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks, to move products safely.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to load and unload products from trucks and shelves.
- Ensure accurate picking of orders by verifying items against packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Experience in order fulfillment within a warehouse setting.
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations.
