Duration : 12 Months contract with possible extension. Job Description:
Monitors, tests, maintains, and repairs network and infrastructure elements for CCIT. Responsible for monitoring the network, server, and application elements, resolving incidents and service requests, and consulting with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Applies state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve network control center performance.
Configures network and system resources and maintains corresponding system records and documentation. Provides Tier II support as per SME agreements and performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. Executes pre-configured port activations on network switches.
Prepares and reviews documentation for operational use, training, and knowledge base development. Participates in training and cross-training for Tier II support. Delivers customer service for all information and telecommunication network systems support areas.
Monitors mainframe, applications, and batch processing. Responds to issues, alerts, incidents, tickets, and resolves incidents and service requests, or consults with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Meets agreed SLA time requirements.

IP network troubleshooting
DNS configuration
Understanding of monitoring tools (Splunk, Solar Winds)
Microsoft Office Suite
Server batch scripting
Technical writing experience
