We design, manufacture, and install high-density mobile shelving systems to save space and increase storage capacity. MMI offers a complete turnkey one-stop-shop for country clubs wanting to increase their bag storage capacity within their current space OR ones that allow us to work with their architect to design in a new space. Salary Range: $80,000 base + Commission (no ceiling & no territory limitations) Purpose of Position: Generate new sales through direct selling, provide competitive industry quotes, and exercise exemplary customer service to golf professionals and head pros. Support prospects in a manner that promotes revenue growth and profitability, customer service, product and industry education, and overall growth and forward movement of the MMI brand in the golf sector. MUST be willing to travel across the United States to meet with golf professionals at their clubs! Expect approximately 50% of time to be travel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Research prospective clubs needing our solutions/qualify leads · Creatively target the right contact/buyer and establish a relationship in an effort to obtain floor plans, schedule a site visit, and start designing/pricing a space saving concept increasing their golf bag count immediately. · Drive sales growth with existing and potential customers by promoting new products and services via emails, calls, & site visits. Attend golf tournaments for purposes of promotion. Attend PGA tradeshow for networking and brand awareness. · Conduct product demos/presentations · Collaborate with all internal departments to deliver excellent customer service and experience at all stages of project lifecycle · Keep management informed by submitting activity and quantitative reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, weekly sales sheets, customer lead summaries, expense reports, customer lists and completed customer information packets · Analyze and provide solutions to increase efficiency and production in a variety of other items requiring a space saving solution (push carts, pro shop items etc) · Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and services · Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and/or participating in professional societies · Establish a social media presence to promote the experience our customers will have working with you and MMI Golf · Promote ancillary products; ensure other staff is trained properly to drive sales · Any other duties as assigned Requirements: MUST know the golf industry well - visited courses, play regularly, have contacts. · Outstanding customer service · Excellent listening, negotiating, and presentation skills · Highly developed written and verbal communication skills · Understanding client behavior and industry trends · Ability to quickly learn and become a solution provider Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, participation in group insurance plans upon eligibility, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave and more.
