Genetic Testing Sales Account Manager Join the innovative team at Gene ID Advanced Molecular Diagnostics, a prestigious genetic testing laboratory accredited by CLIA and CAP, and be at the forefront of hereditary cancer risk prediction with our groundbreaking Next Generation Sequencing Multi-Gene Panel Test. We are actively seeking nationwide laboratory sales specialists to directly promote our genetic testing services to physician offices. According to the Cancer Moonshot Government Initiative, the underutilization of genetic cancer testing is causing unnecessary loss of lives and diminished quality of life. With estimates suggesting that over half of all cancer deaths could be prevented, there is a critical need to increase awareness and access to testing. Shockingly, less than 1.2% of individuals with Lynch Syndrome and only a small percentage of BRCA mutation carriers are aware of their status and risk. To tackle this issue, the U.S. Federal Government has outlined recommendations, including the development of effective strategies to enhance hereditary cancer screening, expand insurance coverage (especially among underserved populations), educate primary care providers, and utilize advanced Next-Generation Sequencing to explore genes beyond BRCA1, BRCA2, and Lynch Syndrome genes. There is an unprecedented demand for genetic testing, particularly in assessing disease risk such as cancer. However, many physicians lack the knowledge and time to incorporate genetic testing into their practice. At Gene ID, we provide a comprehensive turn-key genetic program for Primary Care, OB/GYN, and Urology offices, offering a valuable solution to this challenge. The Genetics industry is currently the fastest-growing segment in medicine, with soaring demand from patients and physicians alike. Our testing services hold the potential to prevent certain cancers and hereditary diseases in children.
