Position Overview: The Estimator/Project Manager will review project drawings and specifications, estimate project costs, prepare project proposals, and to submit proposals. Responsibilities and Duties:
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
Travels to sites to review projects, meet with current and prospective customers.
Bids projects within the industrial environment that hth companies operate in.
Orders materials and equipment for projects, as well as coordinates the scheduling of staff (and the customer) to meet the needs of the project.
Reviews engineered drawings to ensure the project is bid correctly, and that the project is going as quoted. Estimar
Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
Build relationships with prospective and current clients and vendors.
Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned.
Qualifications: Education and Experience
At least three years of related experience required.
