Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Children & Family Services to join our team. The Director of Children & Family Services is responsible for providing clinical leadership and policy direction for all treatment programs; maintain accepted standards of practice throughout the agency and provide administrative and professional supervision to all UCPRI staff. The Director of Children & Family Services is responsible for ensuring oversight in the areas of credentialing, legal, supervision, and quality assurance. In addition, the Director of Children & Family Services is responsible for agency representation, contracts, and billing.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:
Provide direction, supervision, and oversight to UCPRI clinical supervisors, case managers, direct care staff, and interns to ensure excellence in service delivery and ensure adherence to required policies and documentation.
Develop, update, implement and ensure procedures, processes, and guidelines are in accordance with RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
Provide on-going monitoring and adjustments to ensure quality of service that is in compliance with state regulations.
Provide clinical services to clients including completing assessments, consultation, mediation, referrals, case advocacy, and attending discharge planning meetings.
Provide program development for increasing opportunities for revenue streams.
Administration and management of departmental contracts, grants, and budgets.
Collaborate with finance to ensure compliance with state and Medicaid requirements.
Administration, management, and auditing of insurance issues and contracts, including credentialing.
Ensure data is entered timely and accurately to state agencies and complete necessary audits to ensure compliance.
Serve as emergency contact for Children and Family Services.
Represent UCPRI on professional committees and build and maintain relationships within the community including schools, primary care practitioners, hospitals, insurance providers, state and local programs.
Facilitate and attend internal and external meetings relating to clinical and administrative functions.
Experience
Master's degree in social work, mental health, counseling or other related field.
Current and valid Rhode Island State Licensure, LICSW.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in leadership and people management, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
Experience in program development and implementation is a plus.
Strong administrative skills, including budgeting and managing resources effectively.
Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
Supervisory Responsibilities Provides professional supervision to all NEWC staff. Physical Requirements Work is performed in clients' homes and in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift up to 25lbs., walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to office and offsite locations.
