Auto Body Technician

Job Overview
Under New Management
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for collision repair and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete repairs in a timely manner.
Responsibilities

Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent repair/bondo, unibody straightening and panel replacement
Utilize hand tools and equipment to repair and restore damaged vehicles.
Weld components together as required for structural integrity.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Must be able to adjust to daily priorities set by the General Manager in order to meet the customers needs.

Skills

Ability to read and understand written and printed documents, manuals and repair orders in English, relating to the repair and installation of parts and repair activities.
Must have the necessary tools and skills to complete quality auto body repair.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
Experience in using A/C machine, frame machine and computer scan tool.
Knowledge of welding techniques and practices for effective repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during repairs.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
