We are hiring for an Assistant Guide/Teacher in our Infant classroom as our Montessori School continues to expand!
Location: Texarkana, AR Texarkana Montessori School at Sugar Hill
Full-Time: Work Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00-5:15 with lunch break
Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Guide to join our early childhood education team. This role emphasizes creating a psychologically safe environment for both children and staff, while integrating Montessori principles into daily routines and activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering holistic development in infants and maintaining a supportive atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

Cultivate a safe environment for infants
Collaborate with the lead guide on Montessori activities
Support infant development and independence
Build positive relationships with families
Maintain a clean and inviting classroom
Model empathy and effective communication
Participate in professional development
Adhere to licensing regulations and safety protocols

Preferred Qualities:

High school degree
Degree in Early Childhood or previous experience in early childhood
Montessori Diploma/Certificate or are interested in free training
Strong understanding of child development
Excellent communication skills
Dedication to nurturing environment
Flexibility and collaboration skills
Experience with the appropriate ages in a group setting, such as preschool, daycare, Nursery, or Reggio Emilia center
