Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor in the electric motorcycle industry plays a key role in overseeing and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. This position involves managing production teams, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices to meet production targets in a dynamic and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:

• Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support.

• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.

2. Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Collaborate with the production planning team to develop and implement production schedules.

• Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.

3. Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control processes to maintain high product standards.

• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address quality issues promptly.

• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to continuously improve production quality.

4. Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production processes and equipment.

5. Training and Development:

• Train and develop production staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.

• Implement cross-training programs to enhance the skills and flexibility of the production team.

6. Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with the materials and logistics team to manage inventory levels effectively.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely communication on material requirements.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate regular production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Maintain accurate records of production activities, issues, and resolutions.

• Communicate production updates to relevant stakeholders.

8. Collaboration with Other Departments:

• Work closely with the engineering, logistics, and quality assurance teams to address production-related issues and implement improvements.

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal functionality of production equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
-Proven experience in production supervision, preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
-In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and production management principles.
-Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
